Looking for a new point-and-shoot digital camera? Maybe you should consider/wait for the Sigma DP1. Recently announce at PMA 2007, the Sigma DP1 uses the Foveon 14M X3 sensor, similar to the sensor used in the Sigma SD14 (which is 14 Mega-pixel). There are some changes to the DP1 since it was originally announced by Sigma back in Sept. 2006. Notable difference is the hot-shoe, which was missing in the initial annoncement. You can now attach an external viewfinder or a flash.
