High tech winemaking in your kitchen. The Provina WinePod ($3,500) is a custom winemaking 4-foot-tall machine that ferments, presses, and ages wine in one self-contained stainless steel tank. The device can be remotely monitor and control from a PC via wireless connection. It can holds up to 150 pounds and can make four to five cases of wine (up to 60 bottles).

SensorStickâ„¢ is an integrated Brix and temperature monitoring system. Through its on-board WirelessUSBâ„¢ controller, it collects and transmits data to your PC. The wireless radio transmits up to 100 meters and uses 3-AAA batteries. There is no need for messy wires. SensorStickâ„¢ will be marketed to the commercial wine industry starting in 2007.
Dashboardâ„¢
The Dashboard is your interface with WinePod software. The Dashboard displays data received from the SensorStick and manages access to your records. It displays the instructions and prompts generated by the software during the winemaking process. It allows viewing and posting of video clips, photos and sound files, and automatically maintains your notebook. Your Dashboard also connects you to other WinePod users who have made their Dashboards available to the public.
