Camelbak, the manufacturers of hydration backpacks and creators of the motto “Hydrate or Die”, have gone techi. They have released the limited edition Hellion SC Skullcandy hydration pack, the ultimate combination of music and style. The pack integrates Skullcandy’s award-winning LINK MP3/phone receiver system with two waterproof 60mm speakers built into the shoulder straps. There is a also a mini-mic embedded in the straps that allows for music-interrupt switching between your tunes and phone conversations. The backpack contains a 100 oz reservoir for fluids and an insulated tube so that your beverage won’t freeze while you’re out on the slopes. In addition to the main compartment and internal pockets, the pack features external straps for skis/snowboard and loops for an axe/shovel. Overall, the pack has all the great features of a hydration pack combined with the latest in hands-free phone and audio technology. The pack retails for $249.95 and is available from Camelbak and other outdoor retailers.
