Archos 704 Wi-Fi

So, you’re looking for a device to store and display all of your digital media … well, here it is. The Archos 704 Wi-Fi allows you to not only play videos/music and surf the web using 802.11g wireless, but it allows you to hook it up to an optional DVR docking station and record TV to its 40/80 gb hard drive. The device also works as a photo wallet that allows you to browse through thumbnails and display your digital images, as well as put on slideshows of your photos with transition effects/music. The 7″ wide touch screen, with 800×480 resolution, is perfect for viewing any type of digital content you want to stream from your PC. Altogether, this device and Archos‘ other similar devices are a nice alternative to the small 2.5″-3.5″ screens generally found on popular media devices such as the iPod.
