For you serious wine collectors who have thousands of dollar worth of vintage wine to protect, the $35,000 GE Monogram Walk-In Wine Vault is for you. It combines advanced cooling technology, an electronic inventory-management system, insulation, racking, and lighting - all in one spacious (8′ W x 8′ L x 8′ H). The Wine Vault is a self-contained unit and offers to store fine wine in a secured environment. The Monogram Wine Vault offers the ideal location for storing or displaying wines and it can be installed in as little as a day.
The software application to manage the wine inventory is called Cellar Management System. It has a database preloaded information about 20,000 of wines. The system interface uses a color touch screen console and tag printer for convenience. The interface allows one to locate a bottle in seconds. Bar-code labels are used to manage the inventory quickly.
The customers have several options for arranging the redwood wine racks. Racks are arranged for single-, double- and triple-bottle storage, while also accommodating magnum bottles and crates.
