The Mathmos Thaw allows you to create your very own fire and ice candle, ideal for Christmas, Halloween, winter weddings, romantic evenings at home, or just staring at while listening to some chilled tunes. You simply fill the base mould with water and pop it in the freezer overnight where it will transform into a perfect ice cylinder. Pop the ice shade out of the mould and place it on the stand, light a tea light, and you have a moody light that over the next three hours will slowly melt (handily back into the base mould for re-freezing) creating kewl lighting effects.
