The Ecopod, the recycling system that neatly store all your recyclables items such as newspapers, plastic or aluminum beverage containers (up to 24 fl. oz.). The unit is manually operated via a foot pedal, it can stored and compact 50 cans and plastic bottles. The crushing mechanism includes a child-safety feature. Beneath its lid are two more pods for holding newspapers, glass bottles, plastic bags and other recyclables. Built of brushed stainless steel and plastic, the unit is neatly designed to be unobtrusive in a kitchen or pantry. 16″ x 20 1/2″ x 31″ high.

Available from Williams-Sonoma, the Ecopod comes in black or white and costs $328.
