Tributaries, known for their high quality AV cables, is introducing a pair of HDMI v1.3 switchers (HX410: $300, HX410A: $400). 4 input HDMI ports and 1 HDMI output. Switching the input sources can be done via the front button or with a credit card size remote control. In addition, both models include “Signal Enhancement”, which is an active equalization to maintain optimum video/audio quality for those of us who need a long reach to our AV equipments. The Tributaries HDMI 1.3 switchers also come with an R232 serial port for integration into your home theater control system.

For those of us who still have non-HDMI digital players, the HX410A includes optical and coaxial S/PDIF digital-audio ports for all of the four inputs and the output of the switcher. This enable you to switch your audio and video signals independently of each other.
