Y’know, $23 is a good price for a feature mouse in the laptop domain. But there’s a dozen criteria before there’s a good travel mouse.

Two things forced me to throw Kensington’s rodent in the trash. One, each 3 weeks I bought batteries.

Two, the darn thing required a custom-type surface. Could I use it on the flat of my laptop? No, I had to find a cloth napkin stretched smooth next to my Chinese noodles. Could it track on the thigh of my blue jeans? No, I had to pull the quilt tight at the motel. Could it be a useful mouse?
