The unit uses Tassimo discs (T-Discs), which contain precisely measured amounts of the ingredients for each drink and are sealed to protect the flavors inside. With barcode technology, the machine scans the barcode printed on the label to identify the drink desired. All the brewing happens inside the T-Disc using a unique inverse flow, so beverages pour directly from the T-Disc into the cup, allowing for different drinks to be prepared one after the other.
