This digital cooking thermometer with probe cooks meats according to your taste level from rare to well done – without the guesswork. Simply insert the stainless steel probe into your meat and attach the probe to the remote unit located outside the oven or barbecue. Program the base unit to the desired target temperature; the large LCD readout displays the inner temperature of the food during cooking and an alarm sounds when the inner temperature is met. The remote transits information to the base unit up to 30 metres/100 feet away, allowing the temperature to be monitored from inside the house. When no probe is attached, the remote and base unit display the air temperature. Range of -40 – 392 F/-40 – 200C.
