Now, I’m not sure I understand the point of the Solar Racer Outdoor Racing Set but, it does teach kids the potential of solar power. The set comes with 5 feet of track and two little race cars fitted with real solar cells. Set up the track to your liking and watch the racers go round and round as the sun beats down on them.
One big issue I have with this race set… there is no way to control the cars. You just watch them go round and round. Kids may have more fun with them inside using flash lights to control their speed. Either way, it could be fun for about 5 minutes…
