It’s about time is all I can say. FUSION introduces the world first iPod docking to car audio with the CA-IP500 stereo head unit. This radio is equipped with a pull down front panel so you can insert your iPod (iPod touch, iPod classic and iPod nano). Just place the iPod into the slot and you instantly have access to all your iPod content (while it charges!). The rotary encoder replicates the click-wheel of an iPod, allowing simple, high-speed control through a fully integrated iPod user interface. The OLED display provides a great screen to view your music titles and by the way, it’s a kick as car stereo as well. Life is good, for around $250.
