This laptop top charging device reminds me of a manual sewing machine seen ages ago. This charging device uses mechanical (kinetic) energy to power your laptop. YoGen MaxT comes with a paddle that charges AA batteries, and they in turn power the notebook so it doesn’t shut down as soon as the paddle stops. When not in use it fold up into size of a book for easy storage. I can only think this ever be useful if might find your self stuck on an island and there is no sun or wind and you have dire needs to use your laptop! Never the less this is a positive approach to being green.

The YoGen MaxT in action.
