The Cowon S9 from Korea is quite close to the ipod touch and in some case with features that the Touch don’t even have. To me the iPod Touch is still king of the road because of apple’s vast application store. Anyhow, this Cowon S9 portable media player is quite impressive with a long feature list and a very impressive GUI. The S9 even have the G-sensor which allows the S9 properly tilt its GUI interface this is similar to the iPod Touch’s accelerometer.

The biggest feature which stands out from the rest is the S9’s 3.3-inch AMOLED display, and for good reason. The 480 x 272 resolution screen is positively gorgeous to look at, displaying rich, vivid colors on everything. Your video will look superb with images unbelievably sharp and bright!
