Compost is the black gold in the gardener world. Not only is it one of the best soil amendments you can provide your plants, it’s a great way to recycle waste that would just end up in a land fill. The biggest issue with traditional composting methods is the time it takes to produce and the routine steps required. The Rapid No Turn Composter helps to speed the process up, with less effort. In fact, they claim that it turns organic matter into compost in half the time of typical methods.
It accomplishes this speed using a 3 step process. Stage one is mixing the top chamber with kitchen scraps, leaves or lawn waste. The black plastic attracts solar heat and gets things cooking. About a month later, one initiates stage 2 by releasing the gate into the middle chamber. As it breaks down in stage 2, the almost finished material falls into the bottom chamber where stage 3 turns it into finished compost. This is done on it’s own or by giving the mixing rod a little movement. In as little as 12 weeks you’ll have compost that will kick your plants into gear. The composter is 123 gallons in capacity and assembles quickly without tools.
