The Kyoto Box- A technological alternative for 3 billion
Posted by: technogeek in Concept Gadgets, EnvironmentIt may not look like much, but this technological wizardry called the “Kyoto Box” is expected to transform the world.
The $6 cardboard box won the $75,000 Financial Times prize for the climate change challenge. It can make it easier to boil polluted water with solar power, could cook food, and could help 3 billion poor people cut greenhouse gases.
What a wonderfully unique method to avoid paying for costly electricity or natural gas prices. A definite alternative as much of the world still uses firewood to boil contaminated water and cook food.
