I was thinking of buying something like this but there are painfully few reviews out there and im not sure what is the best buy, H20 audio seemed good but then i read a reader review that said it sucks cos of the headphones, now im thinking buying the swimman headphones and the H20 nano pack (which looks so ugly) cos the shuffle sucks (can’t make playlists whats the point) so am wondering if you guys had any suggestions or insights
Dino,
I’ve been surfing around for good reviews myself. I totally agree — there are painfully few. For what it is worth, the best reviews I’ve found so way are at:

If your looking for a product that has proven to be reliable and millions have purchased them around the world…then you could go with the Swimman, I personally have one myself and they have managed to waterproof the Ipod Shuffle. The Swimman is waterproofed from inside so like the Freestyle there is no case.
If your interested there is a new company selling them for a little cheaper than the Swimman site and could be cheaper for shipping as well…
