Nottage’s G-1 pool table is the first-ever billiard table with a transparent top.
The table functions just like traditional tables because of its clear & patented “Vitrik” surface, a thin film applied to the glass that provides resistance to rolling balls, similar to what you’d find with the felt-lined models.
Now, if I were an expert pool player, I might worry this ultra-modern design would cramp my sharky ways, but it’s made to mimic traditional tables.
The balls are said to roll at speeds similar to slate/cloth models and the table size, balls, cues, pockets & bumpers are all built to international standards.

And now, the kicker. Price tag: a cool AUS $39,900.00 (about $30K USD)
Looks like dad might have to settle for another ho-hum tie this Father’s Day…
