Prone to slouching? Check out the iPosture, a small electronic device that senses when your body slouches and uses short vibrations to alert you to straighten up.
The iPosture operates on a coin-sized battery and can be worn as a pendant or attached to a bra strap or the user’s skin via adhesive patches.
It works by measuring the angle of the user’s upper body. After setting the iPosture to your ideal posture, the device will then remember that angle going forward. When you begin to slouch greater than 3 degrees from your ideal posture (and for longer than 1 minute), the unit detects the change in angle and sends out a corrective alert.
The iPosture comes with batteries and a 30-day supply of adhesives. You can even download a free iPosture iTunes app for your phone from their website.
