There is hardware for that… For $80 you can turn your iPhone or iPod touch into a projector. Now, the HypnosEye isn’t going to replace your living room projector any time soon but, this projector is perfect for mobile action. So mobile in fact, it’s completely wireless and doesn’t even require a power supply.

The HypnosEye Projector uses a lens and a mirror to reflect images on whatever surface you wish. Just turn up the brightness all the way up on your device and clamp into the projector. Display slide shows of pics, create a soothing appmosphere in a room, or use it at your next work presentation. I would guess it needs to be pitch black in the room for good results.
