It uses the same technology found on camping tent. The ZipShot poles that have elastic in between and can snap into place with just a flick, and enables you to set up a 44-inch tall tripod in just seconds.
It can carry a maximum weight of 3 lbs, and it has a “metal ball-head with strong aluminum legs”. However, it does fold up to something that is only 15 inches long and weighs 11 ounces, now that’s cool.
For a price of $50, of course it is money well spent for a photo geek or professional photography alike.
