At just 1.6 pounds and .55″ thick, Sony claims the new VAIO X Series notebook is the world’s lightest notebook, and it’s now available for order.
The VAIO X features a scratch-resistant widescreen display, carbon fiber casing, seamless aluminum keyboard panel, trackpad with multi-touch functionality, integrated camera and mic, and comes with both a standard and extended battery for up to 17.5hrs of total battery time.
There’s even a limited-edition, limited-number Gold VAIO, which is part of the Signature Collection, and sold exclusively at Sony Style.
Prices for the X Series start at $1300.
