With parents in their early 60s, I’m starting to see the effects that arthritis can have on their everyday functions and quality of life. That’s why these Arthritis Pain Relieving Gloves caught my eye. A study by the University of Technology in Sydney, AU concluded that these gloves were responsible for “considerable” or “total” relief in 83% of the patients studied.
These gloves can be worn while doing daily chores or sleeping. The gloves exert a small compression and are lined with a special material that promotes blood flow and circulation in the hands. They can also increase the subcutaneous temperature of the hands by up to 3ยบ F, which is said to help in reducing swelling, pain relief and improving the mobility of ligaments and joints.
The gloves can be worn for extended periods of time and are flexible enough to allow users to continue on with their daily routines, like grasping objects, dialing a phone or doing chores. Exposed fingertips allow the hands to breathe and they’re also able to wick away moisture.
