Fuji FinePix W1 – first digital camera that shoots photos and video in 3D

The Fuji FinePix W1 Dual 10MP Real 3D Digital Camera is the world’s first digital camera that lets you take photos and shoot video in 3D. Then lets you preview your holiday memories on the 2.8″ 3D LCD.

The 3D effect is achieved by their new image capture system, comprised of 2 Fujinon 3x optical lenses and two 10MP CCDs. Essentially, having lenses instead of one.

Of course you can still take 2D images and movies, but how much fun would that be?

Advanced 2D Mode let users use the 2 image capture systems independently, like shooting with 2 digital cameras at once
