This sleek Alpine Racing Sled’s corrosion-resistant, aircraft aluminum alloy frame has a built-in shock absorber that smooths out all the bumps as you’re racing super-fast down the hill.

The frame has a shrouded 6.5″ spring (the same as used in off-road bicycles) to reduce the effect of bumps on your lower back. It’s low-profile design has riders sitting just 11″ above the ground, and the wide runners have polyethylene glide bars for enhanced gliding and tracking. If you dare, you can even use ski wax to make your descent even faster!

To turn, just lean to either side or use your feet. A handbrake located between the legs acts like an aluminum claw that grips the snow directly beneath the sled’s centre without altering the direction of travel. So you can slough off speed, but still make confident stops.
