The Roomba has a new competitor from LG, the new generation of the Roboking model. With 50 db compared to previous 63 db, it’s much quieter than its predecessor. It sports two cameras, which they claimed industrial first, and is much advantage over a robot vacuum with just one. Two cameras are better than one that allow cross image referencing hence better analyze/handling of its environment, so the Roboking knows exactly where to clean.
The manufacturer claimed 30 percent speed increase. Which is independent of its size, so I’m told. It’s actually smaller in the height category, by the way. This version is 90 mm tall while the former version is 130 mm. No words on pricing as yet.
