Use it for your listening pleasure because you can dock your iPod/iPhone and control the unit with a remote. As an alarm clock, the functionality is great. Interval snooze settings from 1 – 29 minutes, sleep times from 120-90-60-30-15 minutes, charge your iPod, separate sleep volume that won’t affect the setting of your wake or listening volumes and a “gradual alarm” feature that gently raises the alarm volume so it’s not too jarring. There are a bunch of other features that make owning an iHome iP9SR the sensible thing to do.
