Apple’s long-anticipated iPad mini is the giant’s latest offering, equipped with a 7.9″ tablet and the same 1,024 x 768 display as the second-generation of iPads.

The mini is 7.2mm thick, weighs .68 pounds and has been manufactured to have the same anodized edges as the iPhone 5. It also has a 5MP camera. Pre-orders for the $329, 16GB WiFi-only model will start on Friday, October 26th, and slated to begin shipping on November 2nd. A great pricepoint for those who’ve always wanted to own an iPad but were scared away by the price of the larger models.

The cellular-equipped mini models will start shipping a few weeks later on AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. The 16GB base model will set you back $459, with the 64GB model going for $659.
