We’ve been looking for a nice carousel spice rack but, the Kitchen Art Pro Spice Carousel sets itself apart from the rest.  Why you ask…  each spice dispenser features an auto measure dial.  With a click of the dial, exactly 1/4 of a teaspoon of the spice is dropped out. Click twice and 1/2 of a teaspoon will be dispensed, etc.  This feature alone had me sold, but it’s also a very attractive spice rack.  It includes 12 spice dispensers and a rotating base.  40 spice labels are included and each dispenser has a small window so you can see the ingredient.  Each can also be sprinkled so, you are not required to use the auto measure feature.  $40 gets you this great looking kitchen gadget.

Slow cookers or “Crock Pots” are nothing new but, the Hamilton Beach 33967 Programmable Slow Cooker stand apart from the rest.  Not only is it a great looking kitchen gadget, it will make some of the best tasting food you’ve every had.  The stainless steel with the flat panel digital read out give it a serious look, for the serious cook.  The slow cooker includes a probe that reads the internal temperature of the meat.  It will automatically switch to warm mode once a set temperature is reached.  So, before you leave for work, set the timer to kick on at 12pm and when you come home, your meal will be perfect and warm.  If you don’t have a crock pot, for only $50, this one is for you…

Hamilton Beach 33967 Set ‘n Forget 6-Quart Programmable Slow Cooker

Portable hot tub?  That heats the water with wood?  I guess I haven’t seen it all.  The Portable Wood Burning Hot Tub is a handmade, relatively light weight, portable hot tub that requires no electricity,  hot water, or plumbing.  The polyester tub has a stainless steel heat coil that uses wood to provide hot water. While fire heats the water in the coil, the hot water will rise and be pushed into the top of the tube.  Natural circulation occurring for 2 and a half hours will get the temp over 100 degrees in the tube!  Not bad.  Just a few issues to overcome.  One, it weighs about 165 lbs.  Not something you want to drag around on a regular basis.  Two, you need wood.  Something else to carry and if it takes up to 3 hours to warm the water, you are going to need a decent amount of wood.  Three, and this is my favorite obstacle, you need 200 gallons of water!  I’d like to know how the two love birds above filled it up?

We just picked up the “As Seen On TV” Touch N Brush Hands Free Toothpaste Dispenser and I must say, it’s one of the few items they brand that’s 100% worth it.  It’s solves 3 of our biggest problems in the bathroom.  One, the mess.  Kids and adults no longer need to touch the toothpaste.  Just a touch of the pump arm and it drops the perfect amount every time.  Second, it uses every drop of what’s in the toothpaste tube.  No more fuss with squeezing out that last drop.  Finally, we don’t have to help the kids anymore, saving us time each night.

Overall, it’s easy to hang, doesn’t require tools, doesn’t use batteries or electric and is a winner in my book!  Pick one up for $19.95.
