Before you know it, December will be here and for many people that means picking the perfect Christmas tree. But for some families, they just don’t have the space. So there’s the Frasier Fir Flat Back Christmas Tree. It’s great for tight spaces because the backside is flat, so you can push it up against a wall and take up a fraction of the space (it extends just 26″ from wall). Includes a half-round stand and 600 commercial-quality mini lights. But all that space-saving convenience doesn’t come cheap – expect to pay $300 for one of these badboys. Yikes, for half a tree? This slot-free Kapoosh Knife Holder is a unique twist on a kitchen favorite. No need to find a specific slot, because the special freedom rods (thousands of thin plastic rods compressed together) hold the knives in place and let users add in virtually any size/shape knife. Especially great when you find yourself with a bunch of old mis-matched knives in your drawers. No slots means you can store more utensils too. Line up knives in different directions or closer together. Plus, no slots help keep knives sharper longer because you’re not continuously scraping the blades against a hard wooden edge, as is the case with standard knife blocks. Built with a woodgrain exterior and removable, dishwasher safe rods. Kapoosh Knife Holder, Woodgrain Finish via GadgetScope 1 Comment »

Computer Choppers is to computers and electronics what those other guys are to motorcycles. Though they’re known for their luxury customization of Apple products (preview their blinged-out gallery here), Computer Choppers can customize virtually any computer or electronic item, including the PS3. And they recently provided a sneak peak of a PlayStation 3 that’s slim-dipped in 24kt gold, one of 5 limited-edition models being made. Personally, I’m partial to the Purple Anodized Macbook Air (pictured below), but that’s probably because I love anything purple or pink. But even this girly-girl can appreciate how cool this PS3 is.
If you’d like to get your hands on your very own golden boy, you’ll have to contact them directly. But if pictures are sufficient, word on the street is you can expect to see more images of the final release posted to their site soon. via Chip Chick No Comments »
