Introducing the new Dell Crystal 22 inch LCD Monitor. At a first glance, I’m not sure if it’s a monitor or artwork? It’s Apple like design includes tempered glass, highly polished metal tripod stand, unobtrusive connections, capacitive touch controls, microphone and speakers, and a 22 HD panel. Other specs include 1680 x 1050 resolution, 98% color gamut, 2ms response time, 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a built-in 2 megapixel webcam. Connections include DVI and HDMI with HDCP and DisplayPort. On the downside, the price tag has very little to offer… $1,199

logitechs-squeezebox-duet-hand.jpgWhen the Sonos system was first introduced jaws dropped. Not because of what is can do, because of the crazy price tag. With Logitech’s new Squeezebox Duet, Sonos direct competitor, your are looking at a 60% price difference! The $400 network digital audio streamer employs a winning handheld remote with a brilliant color screen that lets you navigate your entire music collection (including some online services and the majority of free Internet radio stations) from the palm of your hand… anywhere in the house!

The VIXIA HF10 is one of Canon’s first AVCHD (Advanced Video Codec High Definition) format Flash Memory camcorders. AVCHD uses an MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) video codec, recording true 1080 High Definition resolution video. An advantage of the AVCHD format is that it captures twice as much video using less storage, which enhances the extended recording time possible with 16G Flash Memory, up to 4 hours 45 minutes in SP mode with the internal memory.

Create the look and feel of Hollywood movies with the 24p Cinema Mode or capture fast action optimized for web viewing in 30p Mode. You can even use Canon select Photo grabbing function to capture still images from your video footage.

creative-xdock-hd.jpg

Apple, I hope you have something up your sleeve with Apple TV because Creative has just introduced the Xdock HD. The tag line is, “The ultimate iPod dock for your home theater system.” It’s the only iPod dock that upconverts your video to 720p or 1080i resolution. Not only a great picture but, out of the box you get full DTS surround sound. If that’s not enough, the Xdock HD can wirelessly distribute music throughout your home to X-Fi Wireless Receivers up to 100 feet away without requiring a wireless network.

The Xdock HD connects to a home theater system via HDMI, or it can be connected with component or composite for video and analog line-out or optical line-out for audio. While it docks and charges an iPod, the Xdock HD outputs a menu to an HDTV screen which users can navigate with the included wireless remote to select videos, music, photos and podcasts stored on select iPod models. Users can also adjust video settings including skin tone correction, luminescence sharpening and color saturation.

The Xdock HD is designed for use with the iPod Touch, iPod Classic, new iPod Nano and previous-generation iPods.
