Have you ever go on your extended trip and take lots of pictures and no where to unload your pictures to free up space on your camera? Well, the travellink is a USB bridge that transfers files between two USB mass storage devices. The Memorex TravelLink comes equipped with a versatile 8-in-1 card reader in addition to two USB ports (source and target). So, you pick the files you want for transfers on the 3-line monochrome LCD, and then begin the download, at (sigh) USB 1.1 speed. What makes this somewhat special is the built-in flash reader, which is convenient in situations where the proprieatary camera cable is not available.

The Samsung DualView TL220 is the first digital camera to offer up an LCD screen on the front and back of the camera. So you can preview your pic in the 1.5″ front screen before it’s even taken.
It also has a 3″ rear LCD screen that uses touch technology (Gesture User Interface) for quick navigation. Simply tap your finger or gesture your hand to easily scroll though various menus, as well as your photo library.
The Smart Auto setting analyzes key elements of your surroundings (like brightness, color, motion, etc), then automatically adjusts to capture the perfect picture. Frame Guide allows the user to set up the shot before passing the camera off to a friend to capture the image.
Another interesting feature is Child Mode, which has built-in animations that help parents hold their child’s attention.
And if you accidentally delete a pic, you can use the Recycle Bin to recover it, because every shot is stored in a temporary folder, just in case.

Hidden cameras are nothing new but, they are getting smaller, with better resolution and can be integrated into just about anything. As ESPN reporter Erin Andrews has just proven to the world, all of us are at risk. Using the Spy Camera Finder will help put your mind at ease on that next business trip, locker room visit or vacation.
Simply look through the viewing port and scan any room to reveal the exact location of concealed wireless and wired cameras (even if they are off). It uses what is called “optical augmentation” to locate these video cams, even if they are hidden. For around $87, it’s affordable and with its small size, it’s very portable and lightweight.
If you’re looking to buy a HD camcorder that’s pocket friendly and doesn’t burn a hole in your wallet then this Vivitar DVR565HD makes for a good candidate. Samsung has come out with a digital camera that promises to make you look better without having to do much work.
The Samsung PL60’s Perfect Portrait technology includes a nifty feature called the Beauty Shot. Beauty Shot detects imperfections on the face like blemishes and dark circles and automatically retouches them for you – so you have the brightest and smoothest appearance possible. Different settings mean you can control the level of retouching, although if it makes me look like a model I’d probably set it on high.
Perfect Portrait also includes Face and Blink Detection, which detects when your eyes are open and your smile is at its peak. Cool, no more “eyelid” shots.
The camera also comes with a Smart Auto system which automatically detects surrounding shooting conditions and chooses between 11 settings (Action, Portrait, Landscape, etc) to ensure the final image is optimal every time.
I’m also a fan of Frame Guide, which lets you set up the composition of a shot then hand off the camera to a friend (or stranger, if you’re travelling alone) to capture yourself in the shot you want, at the exact angle you desire.
