Foosball Coffee Table

One of the biggest issues with getting a Foosball Table is the space it can take up. In my case, have the space but, the wife would slap me asleep. The Foosball Coffee Table is the best of both worlds and a great compromise of the negative aspects in getting a stand alone Foosball Table. The table is made of solid poplar, while the table stands 20 inches high (which is a downside since you have to play on your knees). Tempered glass provides a nice coffee table top, while keeping the ball in play, but attracts finger prints like most glass tops do. Each end has score keeping beads and a stainless steel ball return. A very nice looking table that comes at a price. 600 clams will make you and potentially your significant other… happy?

If you’re lazy and don’t feel the need to apologize for it, meet Armchair Cruisers – mobile furniture at your fingertips, (literally).

Custom-built with love by self-proclaimed “professional couch potatoes”, these bad-ass driveable recliners are primarily designed as cool garage furniture – offering all the comforts of home with the added benefit of outdoor access. You know, in case you feel like a little sun on your face during half-time.

Recliners are controlled by a joystick, and available in both electric and gasoline-powered options.
The creators insist you can learn to drive the electric model in under 2 minutes.

And if your honey is equally lazy, you can pick up the loveseat model, with the joystick conveniently situated in the middle so both of you can fight over who has to use it.

Just move the joystick in the preferred direction and away you go. Want to stop? Bring the stick to centre or release it entirely and the brakes will come on. Sounds to me like it passes the “minimal effort” test.

There are several styles to choose from, including;

  • The Harley Davidson-inspired model
  • The Cow Chair
  • Three’s Company 3-seater recliner
  • Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Chair (comes w/ 2 margarita blenders, cooler with tap and a Sirius satellite system!)
  • Even a lemony-yellow chair aplty titled the “Rumble Bee”.
  • Why Rumble Bee? Because you can customize your chair with a pumpin’ sound system too.

If speed is more your style, the AC makers are also working on a 30 HP, nitrous-injected model with twin engines. Prices vary but you can get yourself into a cruiser for as low as $2,900.

There are a host of other AC options, but I’m feelin’ a little too lazy to list them all now. So you can find them here.

    hamburger bed kids furniture

Creator Kayla Kromer takes her love of hamburgers to the next level with this custom-made Hamburger Bed. Had it not been for the little tomato swatch, I’d swear this functional piece of furniture was a spot-on ode to the Big Mac!

The designer purchased a round mattress from the 1970s to create this mouthwatering masterpiece. The bed stands about 3 feet tall, is 8′ in diameter, and would cost approximately $2,000 to recreate.

The bed itself is not for sale, but instructions on how you can make your own burger oasis can be found at hamburgerbed.com.

Now all that’s needed is a side table shaped like a milkshake and you’d have the makings of a perfect combo.

    kuster K1 baby furniture highchair

Sleek and sophisticated isn’t exactly how I’d describe today’s children’s furniture. But this K1 highchair from Küster certainly differs from the norm. Not only is it modern and stylish, it’s highly functional too. It even got a thumbs up from Halle Berry.

  • removable, washable 5-point safety harness
  • complete with basket for handy storage
  • adjustable legs make it easy to adapt to uneven floors
  • highchair grows with baby, up to 6 years of age
  • foldbable, so it works with tight spaces
  • no assembly required, just remove it from the box and unfold
  • comes in a variety of colours and cushion seating options

One of my favorite concept designs from the concept was one of the honorable mentions, the “Cloud Sofa” by D.K. Wei. This small piece of heaven ensures ultimate comfort by a floating upper part that is supported by the magnetic force generated by the bottom base. I would buy this just to see the look on my neighbor’s face to see me asleep in the couch floating in my living room window.
